Tarte natural matte lip stain in lucky

OK so I love the rubbery-tip applicator. The mint-infused smell and taste as it glides on is heavenly too. The color is a pale frosty pink that seemed a bit much at first but minutes later settled down to a pretty soft pink. It's ideal for long wear like a wedding.

Tarte Emphas EYES Smoldering Clay Liner

From RENEE:

I really like this eye liner. It has a nice, even creamy application and the brush tip helps to create the smooth or smoky look you are going for. The dark bronze color I had made my blue eyes really pop. Tarte is an eco-friendly company, which I love, and this I believe is clay extracted from the Amazon river, so you have that extra bit of exotic-ness going for you. I plan on purchasing the liner in the other available shades.

Tarte Lock and Roll Creaseless Cream Shadow and Loose Powder

From RENEE:

This is a fun little combo stick of eye cream shadow and loose powder. I had the forest green and bronze sticks, appropriate for fall. The colors were a lovely blend but the application of the powder and eye cream was a little messy. The roller that dispenses the powder is a little rough on the skin of the eye lid and takes a little coaxing to get out in an even amount of powder and the cream shadow can be a bit gloppy in application. You have to blend and use a few tools to get the right look. I ended up reaching for other liners to blend with the loose powder as it was an easier application process. But for a fun pop of shimmery color, it could be worth the extra time spent.

Tarte Lip Sheer

This post is long overdue, but I've been using Tarte's natural lip sheer for several months now. It's advertised as a cross between a lip balm and a lip gloss, and it pretty much delivers on that. It doesn't feel quite as moisturizing as some other lip balms that I've used, but it is more moisturizing than a regular lipstick. This lip sheer has an SPF-15 rating, and comes in a variety of shades named after days of the week. (I've got the Thursday, which is a light rose shade.)

I try to stay away from things that are super chemical-laden, so I appreciate that this has no parabens, phalates, or sodium laurel sulfate. I generally don't like wearing lots of makeup, so for me, this lip sheer is a perfect way to get some moisture and a little color at the same time!

Tarte Lipsurgence lip tint

Tarte is AMAZING!
I've tried both the Matte (Fiery) and Natural (Moody).
I really like the Matte, soft & light feeling.
I have completely used up the regular!
Almost cried when I got rid of the empty tube.
Luckily, Tarte makes more!

For your radar: Tarte has wonderful gifts on their website as well as a completely different, yet equally great collection on Sephora.

Eyeliners - Tarte vs. Mineral Fusion

Tarte smolderEYES
eye defining pencil - bronze

Strong, bold color and smooth application. I am happy to have found a creamy pencil that is accurate and lasts. The best part is that it doesn't glob up or stick funny. Perfect lines every time.

Mineral Fusion
Eye Pencil - Touch
Goes on thin and perfect. Not quite as creamy and smooth as Tarte. Mineral Fusion has more variety of colors. Love the brightness of the color, and the fact that it is made with all natural ingredients.

Tarte: Beauty in a Box

Tarte
Beauty in a Box: Smoky EyesThis exclusive value set has everything you need for a night on the town. Sephora and Tarte have created the perfect combination that can be taken just about anywhere. I absolutely love the Lock & Roll 12 - hour eyeshadow in bronze. Every time I wear it, I get compliments. It is a complete look that takes only minutes to put on...and lasts all day.

Tarte Lipsurgence natural matte lip tint

Peppermint infused, smooth gliding, rich color that stays. What more could you want? I wasn't sure I would be a fan of the matte finish on my lips, but I am now hooked on it. If you aren't a fan of matte color, you can always go over it with a sheer gloss (but really there is no need). Trust me, you want to try these!

Tarte LipSurgence natural lip stain

Moody

With all of the vitamins and nutrients in this, I really wondered if it would look good.
It does!

Wonderful color, sheer enough for summer, very layer-able.

Wears well, no funny taste/smell, makes my lips feel great!

I really want to try the Lust (red) next.

Oh yeah, Tarte makes it cruelty-free and does not use weird chemicals-- totally great!

Lips: Tarte-- 24/7 lip sheers with SPF 15

Tarte
24/7 lip sheers with SPF 15

I got
Thursday in the Sephora Sun Care pack & fell in love.
It is a very subtle color, just enough to make it look like my lips have a natural tint (as opposed to pale & non-existent). Keeps my lips soft & protected from the sun. It's my new summer staple.
There are the days a girl needs a little added oomph in the lip department. That is why I went out & bought
Friday! Friday's a lovely berry color, you can put on just enough for a stain, or go whole hog & layer it up for a deep, dark look.
The color stays, the soft stays-- I hope that means the SPF stays. Comes in 11 shades- I want to try Monday & Tuesday & Saturday...

Tarte - Natural Cheek Stain

Tarte
Natural Cheek Stain
Full Blossom

At first glance, this tube is a little intimidating. It looks like a crayola crayon push pop. I was afraid that I was either going to have a super dark streak of blush on my face, or not have enough on the sponge to put on my cheeks. That was not the case. The natural cheek stains are easy to use and apply evenly, but not too dark. Full Blossom is a swirly combination of 2 different shades, which makes a nice rosy color on your face. I found it easiest to apply to your fingers and rub into cheeks or apply directly to your face and blend. The best part about it is that every time you purchase this product, you are helping to preserve the Amazon Rainforest. Tarte supports Sambazon's Sustainable Acai Project (SAP), a member of the Organic Trade Association and the Fair Trade Federation.

Tarte-- Double Dose Berry Boost & Gloss

Tarte
Health Couture

Coolest tube!
Very glossy.
Just a bit sticky.
Long lasting color (some color even after I washed my face)
The best part, it is SUPER moisturizing!
I don't feel the need to obsessively re-apply lip balm while I am wearing it.
My lips also appear smooth.
There's a nice mintyness to it.
Plus, there are all these extracts in it which make it good for you, and tarte helps the environment, so wearing it is like doing a good deed!http://www.tartecosmetics.com/tartegives.html

Pomegranate Punch
Pinkier red than I usually go for, but not so much color as to be overpowering. Lighter red, not a deep or dark color.
Acai Boost
Haven't tried the color in daylight yet, just had to tell this: put it on while sitting around before dinner. Completely forgot about it. Ate, drank, watched the Pistons beat the Timber Wolves... Went into the bathroom to get ready for bed-- lips still have color!!! I am a bit amazed. Will test further, want to make sure it wasn't a freak occurrence;)
Go Go Goji & Acerola Rush
I LOVE these sassy little lip glosses. Last weekend I brought my tube of Acerola Rush with me to a wedding shower. I think I have converted all of the VS Beauty Rush wearers to Tarte! As far as the colors go, Acerola Rush is more of a peach color. Go go Goji is a very sheer pink. Both colors are great for every day wear. I agree with everything Kate and Catherine stated above. By the way, did we mention that it has Vitamin C and Shea butter in it?

Catherine:
Acacia Boost
Love it! This is the best gloss I have ever tried! Ditto Kate's remarks on the cool design of the tube - not only does it look chic, but the applicator is a soft sponge tip - way better than those with the brush (e.g. Stila Lip Glaze). A gentle squeeze and you can see just how much gloss you've got. Acacia Boost is the perfect light berry color. And unlike Stila and others, there is actually noticeable color! Also, good moisturizing, way less tacky, and better staying power than other glosses I've tried. I'm definitely ditching my Stilas for more Tartes!
Pomegranate Punch
Obviously, we love the Tarte Double Dose Berry Boost & Gloss line, so this is just a color review.Pomegrante Punch is a light, cherry red. It's not quite the right color for me - a little too red/bold, even though the color is sheer and the coverage is perfect.
Edit: Okay, scratch that. I tried it again today, and I don't know if the sunshine is affecting my outlook, or what, but today Pomegranate Punch was perfection! I was careful not to over do it, and ended up with a nice, light cherry pink. Mwah!
Jill:
Go Go Goji
The packaging is lurvely. It's very expensive looking and luxe. It's a nice weight and a substantial size. The color is a soft pink with flecks of iridescence. It goes on smooth and the minty taste made me feel like my limps were plumping. I'm not sure if they looked all that different but they felt that way. I really like the head of the gloss too. It's a soft fuzzy brush that absorbs the color well so it can be applied smoothly and evenly. Mama like!
