Tarte Emphas EYES Smoldering Clay Liner

From RENEE:

I really like this eye liner. It has a nice, even creamy application and the brush tip helps to create the smooth or smoky look you are going for. The dark bronze color I had made my blue eyes really pop. Tarte is an eco-friendly company, which I love, and this I believe is clay extracted from the Amazon river, so you have that extra bit of exotic-ness going for you. I plan on purchasing the liner in the other available shades.

Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner Set

This online exclusive is well worth the investment. It lasts all day and night, and isn't difficult to apply. I love not having to sharpen a pencil or dealing with powders. This is a great set to complete your makeup collection. The gel glides on easily, doesn't clump, and looks perfect every time. Who doesn't love Bobbi Brown?!

Eyeliners - Tarte vs. Mineral Fusion

Tarte smolderEYES
eye defining pencil - bronze

Strong, bold color and smooth application. I am happy to have found a creamy pencil that is accurate and lasts. The best part is that it doesn't glob up or stick funny. Perfect lines every time.

Mineral Fusion
Eye Pencil - Touch
Goes on thin and perfect. Not quite as creamy and smooth as Tarte. Mineral Fusion has more variety of colors. Love the brightness of the color, and the fact that it is made with all natural ingredients.

Urban Decay: 24/7 Sets

Urban Decay makes the BEST eyeliner.
It goes on all smooth & creamy, no ripping your eyelids, & stays in place.
I love and think this is the eyeliner everyone should use.

Now there are special sets!

I love the Flipside (teal) and Crash (plum) best, so I am torn between the HI-FI and Stereophonic sets.

I think the glitter liner is great, but am convinced that sparkles are not so good after you (I) have turned 30, so I give the sparklies to the under-30's I know-- a gift for them, a gift for me... Could this be any better?

Everyday Minerals Eyeliner

Everyday Minerals
Black Eye liner

Everyday Minerals is an amazing company. They are very earth friendly and environmentally conscious. Their products are bio-safe and wrapped in recycled tissue. Their workplace is also chemical-free and they provide a bicycle to every employee after six months! Now lets talk about their product. The powder Black Eye Liner is great. You can use it wet or dry, depending on how strong or soft you want your line to be. Let me warn you: a little goes a LONG way. The first time I used it dry, I made a mess. Of course they do everything they can to prevent this by putting it in a sifter jar, but I somehow managed to use way too much. Once I mastered the application, I loved it. It is a staple to any makeup collection. Wonderful to use both wet and dry. Everyday Minerals is quality company that it is everyday affordable. Please check out their website and sign up to receive your free sample makeup kit today!

Urban Apothecary Luxe Cream Liner

Urban Apothecary
Luxe Cream Liner
Midnight Opal

I am a big fan of cream eyeliner, so I was stoked to test Urban Apothecary's.
Midnight Opal is a dark navy with a very slight shimmer. It's a great alternative to black for more casual looks (sometimes black is just too intense, KWIM?). Easy application, long wearing and once set (give it a minute or two), non-smudge. I noticed a little flaking during application, but it cleaned up easily. My only bit of advice to UA would be to make it a little more moist/creamier to nix the flaking.
I'd love to compare the color with Smashbox's Picasso, which I believe would be a lighter, brighter blue.

Urban Decay-- 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil

Urban Decay
24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil
Yeyo
Let me start out by saying I am not an eye liner fan. It's the poking yourself in the eye with a pencil, then dragging it... I know that people say to warm in up in your hand (nothing) or to soften it with a lighter/match (molten eye liner is NO fun).
This Urban Decay pencil is different. It is soft. It goes on easily. They are not kidding about the Glide-On!!!
I managed a smooth, even line on both upper lids, right up into the lash line.
This magic pencil also has staying power, which is super good, as if I decide that the occasion is fancy enough to warrant eye liner, it best be on for the whole night;)
24/7 is actually easy enough to use that I'd consider wearing eye liner on a semi-regular basis!
The Yeyo shade is a shimmery white. It kind of freaked me out, then I put it on--Hello Brown Eyes! My eyes stood out (in a good way), I looked awake... For me, it's more of a night look, but I am sold!
